Cazal Eyewear 904 Shields Sunglasses
One of four undisputed pillars of Cazal Eyewear's groundbreaking early works, the 904 is now officially considered legendary. Greek-born designer Cari Zalloni founded Cazal in 1975 in Germany after studying in Vienna and first designing furniture in Italy. From these multidisciplinary means a truly avante gard style was born, with Zalloni's pieces pushing the envelope of traditional eyewear.
The 904 features a metal framework supporting oversized. This model also sports the distinctive Cazal comfort contour bridge. Vintage 904 sunglasses can be spotted by a "Made in W Germany" label printed on the interior of their temples A piece of the sport ideals that the 900 series endeavored to encapsulate in the 1980s, an iconoclastic and innovative approach to eyewear design- an inherence of the Zalloni design repertoire.
