Courtland Eyewear FAOSA Tampico Sunglasses
Made eternally famous by the likes of Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, and Juan G Esquivel, FAOSA eyewear helped define the look of the Fifties. Designed originally by FAOSA founder Jose Cuttler and made in Mexico with the help of a Swiss technician, these Tampico sunglasses take the traditional Wayfarer shape and amplified the style. Many have tried to achieve the classic rock-and-roll look with more ordinary brands and wondered why the effect isn't the same. In contrast, this eyewear is the real thing.
With hinges set in the frames and temples with triple rivets and generous, rounded temple tips, FAOSA eyewear was regarded in-period as being nearly indestructible. Some designs never go out of style.
