Ferrari F23 59 Gunmetal Aviator Sunglasses
The Ferrari marque has always balanced Italian flair in terms of exterior design with underlying quality in terms of technological performance. When the automotive brand decided to expand into eyewear in the late 1980s and early 1990s, the stewards of the brand knew they had to maintain this same level of quality.
Enter the Safilo Group, an Italian company founded in 1934 that now produces for brands including Carrera and Missoni. For this period, Safilo produced Ferrari eyewear that featured signature automotive accents in gold referencing the side strakes of the legendary Testarossa, for instance. These F23 sunglasses feature distinctive temples with the Ferrari script and prancing horse logo, as well as sporting a structural bridge with metal supports that resemble the V-shape of Ferrari engines.
