Vintage Hilton Picadilly 952 Sunglasses
1985/1986, London, the Hilton International Eyewear Limited company sets out to establish 'luxury brand eyewear without excess'. Employing the highest standards in materials with precious metal plating and commissioning the services of the legendary Algha Works of Savile Row eyewear repute, comes Hilton Eyewear. A name that was used for its international recognition, the eyewear line hadn't any association with the Hilton Hoteliers.
With manufactories across Europe servicing the line, the endeavor was to marry sensibility with luxury. Clean lines, dignified appeal all with the influences of the ever-evolving nature of fashion eyewear.
It was the ambition to brand a label that'd assert itself casually among the ranks of fashion eyewear. Started by a young entrepreneur in the 1980s eyewear industry by the name of Dinesh Sanghrajka. It was Dinesh's experience in fashion eyewear that preceded the creation of Hilton that afforded the wherewithal and understanding in eyewear sales and distribution; manufacturing-knowledge, not withstanding.
